We are seeking a full time Administration Assistant to join our close knit and passionate team.

Key responsibilities and tasks
Restaurant reservations and wedding & events enquiries
- Assisting customers with their requests for bookings in the restaurant, for special events and wedding enquiries that come in via email, phone and social media
- Scheduling meetings for wedding & event showarounds
Online content management
- Writing and scheduling social media posts, Google posts and website content to communicate to our digital audience.
- Drafting content for our monthly e newsletter
- Creating social media tiles using pre-designed templates
- Monitoring and responding to social media messages
Poachers Vineyard Wine Club
- Responding to wine club related queries
- Preparing wine orders for Aus Post
Smokehouse administration support
- Ordering of packaging materials for our smoked meats
- Data entry into our inventory management system
- Filing of paperwork
Business admin tasks:
- Daily email & phone management
- Preparing weekly department reports for the General Manager
- Support the book keeper with accounts receivable and payable tasks
- Editing and printing menus for the restaurant, weddings & events
- Updating wholesale pricelists
- Stationery orders
- Preparing wholesale wine & meat order invoices
- Research on new business system & tools
- Packing of hampers for special occassions i.e. Fathers Day, Christmas
We are looking for
Someone who has a professional approach to work, has a passion for or interest in food and wine and enjoys being in a regional location.

- A high level of literacy and verbal and written communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Well presented
- Experience in a communications or administration role
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Calm, friendly and approachable – face to face and phone manner
- Ability to use a digital booking system, Gmail & Google Drive (or similar)
- Can manage your time effectively and prioritse tasks
- Can work as part of a team and autonomously at times
- A willingness to learn and grow.
